2022 K-pop Festival Pakistan

Evening of the 1st day of July 2022 brought all the K-pop and hallyu (Korean Wave) fans under the same roof. K-pop Festival 2022 happened in Lok Virsa. An yearly event by Korean Embassy, mainly a competition between the Pakistani performers who competed in two categories; singing & dance performances.

Every year, the Korean Embassy in Islamabad calls out all the hallyu fans to attend this open event. Hence, bringing out all the passionates together for the love of K-pop. Festival was a 2 hour long refreshing event in the pleasent atmosphere of Garden Avenue-Shakarparian. 

The series of national rounds and regional rounds will lead to the final global competition in South Korea.  Where winners of different countries would compete for the final title.

The performers in K-Pop fest 2022, Pakistan included solo vocalists who chose famous tracks like Daechwita by Suga of BTS, Drunk-Dazed by Enhypen. Also, slow paced tracks like Fine by Taeyeon, OSTs of famous dramas the Heirs and Hotel Del Luna. 
The dance category had performances on tracks like, Red Flavour by Red Velvet, Blessed-Cursed by Enhypen,  Wannabe by ITZY, Love Dive by IVE, etc

For the dance category, soloists and groups came together for riveting performances, which kept the audiences hooked till the end. Not to mention the fan chants and continous cheers. 

The winner of singing category was Dia Amin, who performed Drunk-Dazed by Enhypen. Whereas, in the dance category there were two winners.
The winning group "Dynamite Crew" performed on Mic Drop by BTS & the solo performer Warda on Beatbox by NCT Dream. 

Overall the evening was a pleasant occasion for all the K-pop enthusiasts. Though the performances represented different K-pop groups, the major holding in the audience was of the fandom of BTS-the ARMYs. 

Being a hallyu fan, a K-pop lover, and a big ARMY myself, the evening was the most beautiful experience altogether!
