Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning is a mixed bag, with excellent VFX but a poor storyline, mediocre performances, and run-of-the-mill direction.

Usman Mukhtar, despite his talent, seems miscast in the lead role, lacking the depth and gravitas required. Sana Fakhar, a gifted actress, is underutilized, leaving the audience craving more of her presence. Sanam Saeed, a talented star, is not given enough screen time, and her character's potential is left unexplored. Faran Tahir delivers a commendable performance, but his character's presence could have been more pronounced.

However, Ali Kazmi and Manzar Sehbai bring their characters to life with their impeccable acting skills. Hamza Ali Abbasi's cameo is a delightful surprise, adding a unique charm to the movie.

"Umro Ayyar" feels like a missed opportunity where talented and popular actors were not utilized properly. The movie is likely to disappoint all the "Umro Ayyar" fans who hoped to relive their childhood through the film.

While it's exciting to see a high-budget film with top-notch VFX, it's akin to a body without a soul. The poor plot of the movie failed to impress us at all. Let's hope Azfar Jafri brings us a better version with the possible sequel of the film
